Attention to detail
Detail.
It is either something you notice or you don't. I think that everyone possesses a certain amount of attention to detail, especially if it lies within something we love. You probably know what I am talking about if you have ever noticed something small that caught your eye and you either approved or didn't. Maybe you enjoy fine art or maybe its the detail in the way your steak is prepared. Details in our line of work are everything. If the details aren't considered, the expectation becomes a disappointment. Our goal is to provide only the highest level of detail to exceed the expectation of our clients.
Our first line of Bay Window Campers arrived about 3 months ago. All 5 of them were highly anticipated and when finally made it home at WGC, we were eager to start stripping them down. For months we had conceptualized our ideas and designs for what these buses would look like. What color were we going to paint them? What kind of camping features do we want to include and how true to the original Bay Windows do we stay? It was mutually a simple decision to bring modern day amenities and mechanics to the buses, while maintaining the original mystique that everyone falls in love with. There are a lot of options to consider when marrying concept with application, design versus development. It isn't always the easiest thing to bring a concept to life, as often times the design isn't applicable for one reason or another. One thing was for sure however, we wanted each bus to possess it's own unique personality.
We seek to capture the nostalgia and return the life that VW gracefully perfected back into each of these buses. They are icons in our society that represent a timeless mark in a generation that yearned for love, peace and equality. We intend on preserving that with the highest attention to detail.
